The Lone Star Veterinary Retractor System consists of two components: the autoclavable plastic ring and the accessory elastic stays. The retractor ring can easily be adapted to the anatomy of the surgical site. The elastic stays provide precise retraction with adjustable tension, without obstructing the surgical site.
The Surgery Tray provides minimally invasive retraction of the incision during small animal surgery, while at the same time providing stability and restraint for the anesthetized animal.
Use of the Small Animal Surgery Tray with the 4412 veterinary stays or with any of the other Lone Star Medical Elastic Stay Hooks (sold separately) eliminates the need for assistance while at the same time affording excellent visibility of the incision during the surgical procedure.
Tray accepts electronic and chemical heating pads.
Suitable for use with animals between the approximate weights of 300 and 2,000 grams. Can be used for a variety of mammal species including rats, guinea pigs, small rabbits, neonate piglets, ferrets, and squirrels, as well as for amphibians, reptiles, and birds.
