System for measuring hourly diuresis Misuro
The device is made up of:
• A graduated rigid plastic container (500 ml capacity) for measuring waste fluid, and is equipped with a pre-drip chamber, antibacterial filter and a non-return valve.
• Drainage tube with wide lumen and smooth internal surface to guarantee high flow.
• Graded catheter cone with universal connector with drawing point and protective cap.
• Tube-clamp plate for vesical maneuvers and sheet clip for proper positioning of the tube.
• Collection bag in various capacities with non-return valve, antibacterial filter and drainage tap with rigid storage support.
• System for attachment to bed with two clamps (optionally the device can be supplied with a hook which allows

In the collection position the rigid container is arranged vertically. It is divided into 4 chambers which allow for accurate and correct reading of diuresis (1).
To empty the rigid container into the collection bag, turn the container anticlockwise (2) positioning it on the catch on the support handle.
When all the contents have flowed into the bag (3) the rigid container can be repositioned in the vertical position, detaching it from the catch and turning it clockwise.
"Misuro", different from other urinometers on the market, guarantees that during emptying the urine produced by the patient in that phase is not drained directly into the bag, but is accumulated in the rigid container for subsequent reading (4).
The non-return valves fitted on both the rigid container and the collection bag guarantee a closed-circuit system, offering maximum prevention against infections of the urinary tract of catheterized patients.
The device is supplied in individual packaging sterilized by EtO.
