The Needle can be precisely controlled and guided with one hand, and enables exact positioning for the aspiration procedure. Its unique design gives the doctor a free hand to work with, improves comfort and is less traumatic for the patient than conventional biopsy methods.
- The Syringe Pistol has many uses, including breast and thyriod biopsies as well as cytological testing in oncology, gynaecology and urology. Other uses include common salt washing of Cr-marked blood corpuscles in injection bottles and supra-pubic bladder puncture in the diagnosis of urinary duct infections.
- The Syringe Pistol is precision-machined from light weight aluminium with stainless steel guides. It serves as a handle which holds the syringe and also guides the needle.
